More SNL!

sketch show. It's also not a TV program that launch the careers of
A-List comedians (e.g.
Adam Sandler). It's part of America's political
culture. It's an institution.
SNL have parodied top politicians for the last three decades.
No
one is spared. What is probably the most memorable of these is Tina
Fey's impersonation of Alaskan governor Sarah Palin. The striking
similarities between the two and Palin's sudden fame (after being
chosen as John McCain's running mate in last year's elections) may have
helped made SNL's 34th season premiere episode one of the most-watched
episodes in the show's history.
The script was sharp and hilarious, and Fey, the writer and lead
star of
"30 Rock", was praised for her portrayal of Palin. The
segment's viral success led
SNL producers to do more Palin parodies
during the campaign period.

Many custom papers from superior papers have discussed this segment, as well as SNL's significance. There may be more if Palin would run in 2012. Palin or no Palin, SNL would continue looking for politicos to poke fun at. Not that Hillary Clinton is getting to be a trite subject, but...
